REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The All Indonesia Football Association (PSSI) through PT Garuda Sepak Bola Indonesia (GSI) has officially established long-term cooperation with Kelme. This Spanish brand will become the official apparel of the Indonesian national team until 2030, as announced in Jakarta, Friday (23/1/2026).
The collaboration includes the provision of fixtures for Indonesia national football and futsal teams at various levels and age groups. The cooperation is designed to strengthen the technical performance of the team, build a strong national identity, and support the sustainable development of Indonesia's football ecosystem.
The PSSI judged Kelme to have an alignment of vision and values in building football through a long-term and consistent process. That's why PSSI agreed to establish cooperation for five years.
Kelme was selected after a transparent and credible tender process, which was followed by a number of well-known apparel brands from home and abroad. The evaluation process is carried out in an accountable manner by PT GSI's independent team, taking into account technical, financial aspects, and commitment to the development of national football.
Kelme Indonesia CEO Kevin Wijaya stated that it is committed to delivering high quality products with international standards. According to him, technology support, independent production capacity, and long-term vision become Kelme's main capital to make a real contribution to the progress of Indonesian football.
This cooperation not only focuses on the supply of match jerseys, but also includes training apparel, youth competitions, and referee equipment. Kelme will also be the official apparel of the Indonesian futsal national team from March 2026 under the auspices of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI).
Led by PT GSI Marsal Masita, as the announcement of the tender winner explained, this cooperation will take effect from March 1, 2026 and will last up to the next four years or until 2030.
Indonesian national team coach John Herdman said the presence of the new apparel brought a new spirit and identity to the team. According to him, everyday equipment is an important part of establishing standards of professionalism, togetherness and pride as a team.
