Not-safe-for-work cartoon Hazbin Hotel returns to screens for a second season this week on Prime Video, with the guest house for fallen angels back up and running following the disastrous events at the end of Season 1.
Based on the hugely successful YouTube series by the same name, Hazbin Hotel has crossed over to the mainstream with Vivienne Medrano's animated musical recently commissioned for two additional seasons. The show follows Charlie Morningstar, the daughter of Satan, as she attempts to run a hotel for demons with the aim of rehabilitating them so they can get to heaven.
Business is booming in Season 2, following Morningstar's victory over heaven's army at the end of Season 1. However, power-hungry demon overlords, the Vees, appear set to challenge her dream, igniting a battle that threatens to engulf both hell and heaven.
With the soundtrack for the first season having managed to reach the Billboard top 20, Season 2 receives a major musical boost with Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump joining the voice cast as Abel, a sweet, contrasting figure to his rock-star father.
