LG's G6 OLED TV Offers Even Higher Brightness and Is Better in Lit Rooms

The LG Wallpaper W6 may be spectacular looking -- it's slender, it's bright and it's wireless -- but relatively few people will actually buy it. In 2026, I believe more people will be buying this TV instead: the G6 evo OLED. And for one good reason, LG's G Series looks better than ever at CES 2026

Like the W6, LG has upgraded its 4K G6 OLEDs with the company's new Tandem technology (two OLED panels stacked on top of each other). As a result, the new G6 delivers similar brightness boosts to the W6 and is also 20% brighter than the G5.

LG has seemingly taken strides to reduce glare in 2026 and says the "Reflection Free" G6 has the lowest reflectance among LG TVs and this should improve watchability in lit rooms, although black levels may be reduced. This feature makes it super-competitive with the new Samsung S95H, although that TV also adds anti-burn-in tech that lets it act as a Frame TV or even a computer monitor.

Although the company has yet to announce pricing for any of its OLED ranges, the proprietary nature of the W6 -- with its wireless system and custom, non-VESA mount -- means that it will cost a lot more than the G6, while most likely delivering the same picture quality. The LG G6: Potentially great picture, better price.

I look forward to checking the G6 out when it's released later in the year.
