Five Nights at Freddy's fans could watch the first movie adaptation in 2023 in theaters or on Peacock. The 2025 sequel abandoned the Peacock option, but it's coming to streaming after a wait.
Five Nights at Freddy's 2 -- the follow-up to the initial blockbuster flick based on the horror video game series -- again stars Josh Hutcherson as Mike and Elizabeth Lail as Vanessa. More than a year after the first film's supernatural happenings, the plot sees Mike's younger sister, Abby, seek to reunite with her animatronic friends, setting "a terrifying series of events" into motion, according to a synopsis.
The second Freddy's film adds new cast members, including Mckenna Grace and Skeet Ulrich. Here's what you need to know to stream it.
When to stream Five Nights at Freddy's 2 on Peacock
US viewers can watch the horror flick on Peacock on April 3.
Peacock's plans include Premium, which costs $11 per month and includes ads, and Premium Plus, which costs $17 per month and is mainly ad-free. With Premium Plus, ads will still appear on "channels, live sports and events, and a few shows and movies."
Peacock also offers an $8 per month Select tier, but it doesn't include Universal Pictures films such as Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
In addition to the monthly payment option, you can prepay for a year of any Peacock plan and save money if you plan to have Peacock for 12 months anyway. You can also consider a recently launched bundle of Apple TV and Peacock. The combo ranges from $15 to $20 per month, depending on whether you opt for Premium Peacock or Premium Plus.
